D2 – Analytics GDPR:
D2 – Analytics company comply with applicable GDPR when they take effect on 25th May 2018. GDPR is the new EU regulation for the protection of personal data. It marks a new era in data protection by being the most significant piece of privacy legislation in Europe in the last twenty years. It replaces the 1995 EU Data Protection Directive (European Directive 95/46/EC), strengthening the rights of EU citizens over their data and creating a uniform data protection law across Europe.

Who are we?
D2 – Analytics is a limited company. Our headquarter is registered in Spain (Madrid), and we have offices in Latvia (Riga) and Portugal (Lisbon). We are a Big Data company that offers various marketing research software to Countries, Regions and Cities in the fields of Tourism, Investment, Export, Talent, and Prominence. D2 – Analytics respects the privacy of every person for whom we have personal data [“data”]. We comply with the GDPR, which regulates the processing of data and ensures that your data is processed fairly and lawfully, is kept secure and only that data necessary for any processing is kept. The information you provide to D2 – Analytics is being collected for legitimate business purposes, including processing registrations or enquiries, keeping you informed about new events, content, and providing the best possible service. What information do we collect?
We only collect personal information if we have your permission or have reasonable, legitimate reasons for doing so, such as collecting information to supply you with relevant marketing content. We will only collect the information we need to enable us to fulfill these processes. Data that we collect will include name, job title, company name and address, email address, telephone number, purchasing history, content you read on our websites, plus various other data. If you sign up for the newsletter, we may track your response, e.g. open a newsletter or click on a link in a newsletter or the pages you visit. For employees/contractors, we keep personal data needed to recruit you, pay you, provide company benefits and fulfill our legal obligations. We do not share personal data with 3rd parties for marketing purposes other than with the individual’s explicit consent (s), which may be withdrawn at any time. Information we receive from other sources. We work closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies, and research companies) and may receive information about you from them.
How do we use your information?
Customer administration: Part of the personal data is used to provide information, communications or transaction services such as placing an order and delivering events and/or services to you. Sales and marketing activity: We primarily use data to communicate and share content that might interest you. The channels we will use to communicate with you include email, calls, social media and postal. D2 – Analytics allows you to opt-out of receiving marketing communications, and we will, in certain circumstances, need to obtain your consent before sending such communications to you. Further detail can be found on the appropriate event website and in each marketing communication sent by D2 – Analytics. Profiling: we will use elements of the information you provide to send you more targeted messages. For example, we may use your job title to send you information on the event sessions most relevant to you or your interests to send you relevant content such as blogs/interviews. Any other purposes for which D2 – Analytics wishes to use your data will be notified to you. Your data will not be used for any such purpose without obtaining your prior consent.
How do we obtain your personal data?
www.d2analytics.io offers the opportunity for its visitors to submit their details via a form (e.g. to request further information or download a resource). From social media: if you choose to communicate to us via any of the social media platforms. Verbal and written communications: when you send us an email, call or write a letter, or if we meet you face to face. Third parties: we sometimes receive personal data from third parties.
Disclosure of your information:
We will only share your personal data with our sister companies. Our sister company is Bloom Consulting. We do not share personal data with 3rd parties for marketing purposes other than with your explicit consent, which may be withdrawn. We may share your information with selected third parties, including:
- Business partners (City Nation Place), suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you.
- Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimization of our site.
- Credit reference agencies to assess your credit score where this is a condition of us entering into a contract with you.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties:
- If we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
- If D2 – Analytics is acquired by a third party, personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.

How long do we keep your data?
We will retain your information as long as it is necessary to provide you with the services you have requested from us or as long as the law permits otherwise. When the data is no longer required to process what was acquired, it will be securely deleted from all systems.
Security & Confidentiality:
D2 – Analytics is committed to keeping the data you provide us secure and will take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or alteration. Information security policies, rules and technical measures have been implemented to help protect your data. All our employees/contractors and data processors (i.e., those who process your data on our behalf, for the purposes listed above), who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our site visitors’ data. In certain circumstances, your information may be processed outside of the D2 – Analytics, such as when an event partner may be supporting us with producing an event you have registered for, or we engage third parties based outside of the D2 – Analytics. For example, this could also be where you have signed up to partner or attend an event outside the D2 – Analytics. We shall take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and under D2 – Analytics Privacy Policy.
Your rights:
You have the right to see, delete or correct the personal data that we hold about you and the right to object to us using your data for marketing purposes or to transferring your data to a third party.
